PLEASE pray for my precious friends, Nathan and Annmarie Asiimwe, from YWAM Northern Ireland. They founded Shine FM, where i worked for a season as a radio presenter(DJ) in Banbridge, N. Ireland. This from an email they sent out:
"Dear Friends,
Thank you so much for your recent prayers and encouragements since Nathan went into hospital two weeks ago.
Your prayers and e-mails have made a great difference to us. Here's an update with some good and not-so-good news.....
We recently found out that we have another wee Asiimwe on the way. We are delighted and thanking God for this special blessing! The baby is due early December.
The other news came as a shock to us yesterday. Nathan has been diagnosed with cancer (lymphoma - which was found in the lymph nodes). We are waiting on more results to find out the prognosis and treatment planned (most likely chemotherapy in Belfast City Hospital).
So naturally we especially now appreciate your prayers! (If you know of any other pray-er or prayer group who might pray please feel free to pass on this e-mail to them.) We know that our God hears and answers prayers.
Annmarie's parents have offered to come up and help with Grace as much as they can, for which we are extremely grateful.
In the meantime our eyes and our hearts are lifted to our wonderful awesome God: We may not know what the future holds, but we know Who holds the future!
In His love,
Nathan, Annmarie & Grace"
This family has already been through so much over the past years. Natahan has struggled with depression, chronic fatigue syndrome and went through major chemo for throat cancer and survived.
How much more God, are you going to allow your precious children to endure? God, have mercy. PLEASE do not leave this precious woman to raise two children alone. God, PLEASE heal Nathan. You have brought him through so much thus far. Strengthen him and the family. Help Grace in her little todlerness to understand and endure. Strengthen Annmarie in her physical, emotional, and spiritual being. Help family and friends know how to be a supportive community. Help Nathan's health care providers to have wisdom and compassion. Thank you, God. Amen
