My good friend, Abbott, who is an Episcopal priest at St. Stephen's Church in Richmond, VA, is part of a group of young people, several who are also friends of mine, presenting a U2charist on Thursday, the 21st of June. My friend Meghan was the impetus in seeing this project come to fruition here in Virginia. Her heart is to see people wanting spirituality but who want nothing to do with the church to have a positive and deep experience with the aid of the music of one of the most popular bands of all time, U2. The U2charist is part of Episcopalians for Global Reconciliation. There is a lot of mis-information out on the web and i have been educated about this from a good friend of mine who actually coined the term U2charist over at Sarah Laughed.
